On July 23rd, I went to a chiropractor in Hampstead, NH, that specializes in myofascial manipulation, also known as myofascial release (MFR). I had previously watched some of Dr. Matt's social media posts, especially those related to hip joint pain.
For the last eight months to possibly four years, I've had pain in my left hip joint and groin area. More recently, I've been limping on my left side. I determined that it was from my rowing machine, 45 minutes, three times a week. I also weight train regularly, but I stopped using the rowing equipment eleven months ago, but the pain didn't go away.
At Swiesz Family Chiropractic LLC, Dr. Matt tested my hip area. He located trigger spots that were causing the hip pain. The pain wasn't from the hip joint at all, but my left leg adductor muscle and IT band. The muscle was super tight and firing constantly, even while laying down
Dr. Matt performed MFR on my left adductor muscle and IT band. The pain was excruciating, but the end result was me walking out of the office with no left hip limping! Unbelievable!
Doing heavy yard work and weight training has slowed my healing progress a bit, but I now have moments of total relief, and I'm committed to a full recovery with Dr. Matt's MFR treatments.
I could have gone for an MRI, which would determine arthritis, which is normal for someone who's been physically active their entire life and going to be 65 next year. The problem is that the medical system is broken, and an orthopedic surgeon would have suggested surgery or a hip replacement. That's modern medicine.

I haven't been going very long, but it's been a great experience. I was honestly afraid I wouldn't be able to relax enough that I'd be paralyzed, so I never bothered to go to a chiropractor before. My fears were put to ease!

They are the best. From the first appointment when I was in dire pain throughout the entire rehabilitative process. I feel 100%. Those back issues are tough to struggle through but it was well worth it.
